What I wear, when I wear it, and how it works on my bike
I’ve been on vacation–at the beach, fishing and swimming in the pool and hanging out on the shore. Mostly I wore my Lands End swim shorts or leggings and a tank top.
I’m back at work today–rode Linus in, even though it’s humid. I had worn my JJill linen pants and the Elizabeth & Clarke unstainable Parker shirt. But that shirt just traps heat and sweat and it was gross when I got to work, although I’d ridden slowly and it was not terribly warm out. So I changed into the Misook tank dress and cardigan when I got to the office.
I like the Unstainable shirts–ultimately, they are comfortable and nicely made–but the fabric simply does not breathe at all. It’s the same as my Outlier pants. Because they shed spills or rain, they trap all your body’s moisture against your skin. I need to remember never to ride in the shirts.
